Radicchio di Chioggia IGP has a round compact head, red leaves with white veins, slightly bitter flavour and crunchy consistency. More than half of the Italy’s radicchio is produced in Veneto and the radicchio di Chioggia is the first for cultivable land, production quantity and presence in the market.
