Asiago DOPIt is the most important bovine transhumance of Italy thanks to the number of animals (more than 600) and the length of the path (90 km). The event has a regional importance that aims to recover traditions and cultural aspects that are disappearing. The festival starts with the arrival of the Italy's most numerous herd from Marcesina (Altopiano dei 7 comuni) to Bressanvido, and then the event continues with the market exhibition, tastings and different activities dedicated to the cool country such as the cut of a whole cheese of the transhumance.
